The price increase goes into effect for shipments on July 1, 2025
Tokyo, June 25, 2025 – JAPAN VAM & POVAL CO.,LTD. (JVP) (Head Office: Sakai, Osaka, Japan, President Yoshiharu Koizumi) announced that it will increase the sales price of its Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA). This increase will go into effect for shipments on July 1, 2025.
In addition to rising cost for repairing and upgrading aging facilities and logistics cost, the recent geopolitical tensions has led to rising energy prices. We now have to implement an upward revision in the prices of PVA as follow,
